What does ‘Best After’ on the label mean?

The vanilla beans need to steep for a minimum of 8 weeks. After that time (the date on the label), it is ready to use as vanilla.

What do you mean by “Better After” this date or “Even Better After” another date?

For Vanilla 80 sold with vanilla beans, the longer the beans are in there, the better it tastes!
HINT: 6 months is best if the intended use is as vanilla. 12 months is even better!

Do I need to shake it?

The more you shake it, the more the vanilla bean seeds from the pod will emanate out and flavor the concoction!

Vanilla Beans

If your Vanilla 80 was packaged with beans, they must stay fully submerged. You can:
1. Keep them covered by adding more of the same type of alcohol to replenish your supply, or
2. take the beans out.

How do I use Vanilla 80 in a recipe?

Vanilla 80 can be used as a 1:1 for imitation vanilla in a recipe.

Are the speckles floating around normal?

Yes! Those are the vanilla bean seeds, the more you have the better your flavor!
